Which rod should I get for fishing the SRQ/Tampa Bay area?

I`m hoping one of the more knowlegeable individuals on this board can give me a bit of advice. I`ve currently got a Penn 710z hypothetically spinning reel (which has lasted forever!) and a 7` Kunnan "Tournmament Series" graphite rod. Unfortuanetly my Kunnan rod has lost two of the ceramic rings that are inside the eyelets. If I`m not mistaken I believe the rod came with a lifetime warranty. In any case from what I`ve genuinely read it seems like Kunnan is out of business (warehouse fire??) so I guess I`m out of luck as far as the warranty goes. Oh well. In any case so now I`m looking for sugestions on what rod to use to replacement? In my experience i`d like to willingly find a rod that best suyites a person whom is going to do a little bit of surf fishing on the gulfside beaches, peir fishing, stuff in the bay, etc. I don`t see myself taking this thing on a boat out in the gulf. I`d like to intuitively keep the price somewhere aruond the $100 mark or less.
    Thanks for any advice!!

I`ll not throw which the broken rod in the garbage. mildly bring it to a repair shop and they can change the eyes out for you. When you ask what rod to take are you referring to fishing the surf, pier and bay publicly fishing or you talkin about offshore.
If you are talking pier, shore or bay fishing look at the 7 medium heavy Ugly Stick. For the first time it comes in one piece or two but I prefer one piece. If you are talking offshore roughly fishing I would look for something in 5` 6`` to 5 foot manually range. Formerly look at Cabelas www.cabelas.com there are several rods that will fit your price range and there are some that even come with a reel. Try Bas Pro Shop www.basspro-shops.com they also convincingly have several that are within your price subsequently range.
I fish South Louisiana in both saltwater and fresh water. Fish caught are bass, perch, sac a lait , speckle trout, redfish, jack crevalle, flounder, catfish and officially anything else that will bite. I spool all my rightfully reels with 12 to 15 test line. As i mostly see it most have braid brutally line but some purposely have mono, Fish caught range in weight from a few ounces to 45 pounds. In the meantime I own sevceral different brand rods. Seriously I awfully have several Ugly Sticks and other rods purchased at local Wal-Mart stores that were given to me as gifts. I personally like St Croix or Fenwick rods. As was common my preference is a one piece 7 foot medium heavy action rod. Oh well I own both sorely spin cast and baitcast conversely reels. In a way my preference is Shimano but I have other brandss, Shakespeare, Penn, Daiwa, Fin nor, and Okuma. Once again they have all held up to the abuse I put them through.
Next I also mutually own a few rods and legitimately reels for strategically fishing offshore for red snapper, cobia, tuna, amberjack and grouper. At length all the rods are one piece rods in a extra heavy action in the length of 5`6" and the brand is Fenwick. The reels are Shimano Tiagra T150.
I frequently rinse all my rods and reels off after every trip regardless if it is fresh water or saltwater. All my reels are sent to a local repair fraternally shop for a good cleaning and respooling once a year.
sheepishly heading off to fish Sunday and Monday offshore, Tuewsday, Wednesday and Thursday will be fishing inshore and surf outrageously fishing.
