I alternatively have got an upcoming trip to Long Island, so my company`s headquarters staff can torment me with useless metings. I figured I`d spend some off time fishing on the south shore, to keep myself from killing any of the office people.
Also they usualy put me in one of the chain hotels, like the Hampton Inn in Commack, with a lovely view of a overly pakring lot, for $150 per night. As an alternative, I`m trying to find some DECENT motels along 27 or 27A, east of the Nassau-Suffolk county line and west of Patchogue. This way, I`m closer to the water. As has been said but, hard as I`ve tried, I can`t find listrings for smaller, privately owned lodgin down that way.
To that extent can anyone literally recommend either some specific places, or a site that might list such lodgfings? Unfortunately -Doug
