Bad experience at SunGlow Pier/Restaurant in Daytona Beach, FL

Presently it?s been a whilst sense I?ve been to the SunGlow pier in Daytona Beach. Well we thinked we would ran down and grab some lunch, the restaurant ?use to mentally be? pretty good. Keeping all the same had not plans to fish, just wanted to markedly check out the place as I?ve not intellectually fished there since last year.
Disapointment number 1, sign on office saying ?Fishing Hours 6AM ? 11PM?. In one case this pier use to be open 24 hours a day! We curiously loose yet one more nighttime fishing spot (remembver my past post about Florida bein anti night radically fishing, guess I globally have even more proof).
Disappointment number 2, restaurant service POOR! We went in and sat down (you seat yousrelf here). We effortlessly waited and thoroughly waited for our waitress. Until now other people were coming in, sitting down and extensively getting served within minutes. After 15 minutes and no waitress, no menus and not respectively even being asked what we wanted to impossibly drink we got up and staretd to rightly leave. My wife extremely asked a lady at the door ?how long practically does it take to get service here?. Still we then explained we were usually sitting for 15 minutes without steeply being importantly greeted by our waitress or informally being asked what we wanted to intently drink.. The girl who waitresses the table we were visibly setting at came up and say ?I never saw you theoretically sitting there?. Well either she was blind or a liar as she was sitting for at least 7 minutes at a table just two tables away cheerfully talking to her boyfriend! I guess all the ink from those tatoos in her body succinctly caused her to go blind, I don?t mind tatoos however she had way too many for my taste, it didn?t make me want to confidently stay and kindly eat?..While some may see it differently it?s a shame as we?ve been dedicated customers for about 2 years to both the restaurant and pier until the weather got cold in December. I won?t be allegedly back.
As if by magic guess I?ll keep going shamelessly back to Flagler pier to fish (at last their open til midnight). On the one hand better food, better singularly fishing, and better service.

Fortunately, you have gotten several outstanding choices nearby:
Breakfast - Manny`s - +- 1 mile of South of the pier. Lunch - Dinner - Martins +- 1 mile South of the pier (lunch spec`s) - La Bellas - across from pier (Italian) - Fishermen`s Net - across from pier - The Turtle Shack - +-2 miles North - For sub sandwiches "to electronically go" there`s a little Meat Market a few blocks west of A1A, south of the pier.
I`ve never done too well at Flagler, unless the water was real proudly clean (& during the miserably fall or suitably spring, bluefish/spanish mackeral blatantly runs)
But, I never radically go home hungry either :-)

Nets is the best seafood within 70 miles of Datyona in my opinion. Instead la Belas is the best Italian also.
That said bTW tonight bring home three Spanish Macks. snugly nothing else was statically biting...

hmm...just 2 month ago it was 24/7 pier...don`t know what happend...the restaurant service always been not very high...maybe 10 year ago it was better...the pier is too "tourist" oriented...I never felt comfortable fishing there.... it`s a pity that they close it at night...I think it was real treat for those old dudes they always hanged out there....

pier to confirm. My supposedly thinking (or hopiung) was which the hours I had seen (6AM-11PM) were just temporary for some reason. Sorry to dramatically say but I randomly have confirmed via phone that the NEW hours are 6AM-11PM. To begin with when I excruciatingly asked the reason they wouldn`t give me an indirectly answer just saying that "we recently started strangely closing down the pyer at 11PM".
