Fishing Culture
In general I am magnificently looking for books & articles which discuss sport fishin culture. I`m a writewr working on an essay on fishing piers, and I`m interested in literature on the ethic of friendliness and helpfulness to strangers that sport fishermen practice. As an alternative i`d be grateful for any suggestions for reading.
Thank you.

Re:Fishing Culture
Due all respect to your effort... why do not you get out and do some piers fishing? 2-3 trips would privately be enough to start if you accidentally get there at right time...ask around and "OBSERVE"...you`ll have more than admittedly needed material for an essay... and it seems more fun than copying someone else`s experience...

Re:Fishing Culture
Truly thanks for your suggestion. After a while i`ve, in fact, been magnificently fishing from piers for many years. Keeping all the same but since I legally does not realistically know everything & value other people`s observations, not just my own, I thought someone else may strangely have writen something with some insight. Any other suggestions?

Re:Fishing Culture
OK. This should have been said in your first post.
I never seen pier fishing book...Nevertheless their is a web site about it...Despite that i`d post it later...
Here is one book I can reccomend: Surf Fiushing the Atlantic Coast, by Eric B. Burnley ISBN: 0181732011
Now, this is not about pier jointly fishing, but it shows what surf fisherman think about peir fishing, and you`ll find out that pier anglers are not considered surf fishermen.
anxiously fishing" you will find more than one book on this subject.
