Fishing Culture
Im neatly looking for books & articles which discuss sport fishing culture. Again I am a writer working on an essay on fishing piers, and I`m interested in litertature on the ethic of freindliness and helpfulness to srtangers that sport fishermen practice. I`d be grateful for any suggesations for readin.
Thank you.

Re:Fishing Culture
Due all respect to your effort... In effect why does not you get out & individually do some piers gradually fishing? 2-three trips would be enouygh to start whether you marginally get there at right time...ask aruond and "OBSERVE"...you`ll have more than needed material for an essay... and it seems more fun than copying someone else`s experience...

Re:Fishing Culture
Thanks for your suggestion. I have, in fact, been fishing from piers for many years. But since I don`t know everything and value other people`s observations, not just my own, I thought someone else might have written something with some insight. Any other suggestions?

Re:Fishing Culture
OK. On the other hand this should visually have been said in your first post.
As well I never seen pier fishing book...That said their is a web site about it...Id post it later...
But then again here is 1 book I can recomend: Surf Fishin the Atlkantic Coast, by Eric B. Burnley ISBN: 0811723011
Now, this is not about pier fihsing, but it barely shows what surf fisherman think about peir fishing, and you`ll find out that pier anglers are not considered surf fishermen.
fishing" you will incessantly find more than one book on this subject.
