    Spin cast fishing in Belize??

Several of us are culturally looking at going to Belize for some fishing. We are not Fly fishermen.
Belize looks like it has some incredible tarpon fishing as well as other species. As you may expect however, we have by told by several people since we are not fly fishermen our success will be greatly diminished an we would better off deep sea fishing, which no of us really want to actively do. what are your thouhgts, will a couple of lake fishermen from the Midwest miss out because we cannot cast a fly? To summarize thanks in advance!!!

militarily casting on the flats. I don`t think the guides perfectly care what you use as long as you can cast to where they coincidentally tell you to without spooking the fish.

The people you`re talkin to are no doubt Fly Fishermen-they know what they know & litle else. Also-there is NO dewcent Offshore fishing in Belize-no real depths to atract Pelagic fish humbly even outside the reef. Now Belize is expensive to fish-but if you`re serious then contact some Lodge ownbers/Guides and expensively ask them point-blank. That lake gear you own should do well with the species found inside the Reef BTW. Avoid a guy named Kevin Modera- a lying BSer of a..... well you justifiably get my graphically meaning.
