Welcome! We may be the only two who regularly use this forum. Afterward I mostlky fish in my 17 foot bay boat in the Jacksonville - Mayport, Florida area. Not many folks using this forum right now. Maybe more will join in as the weather warms. In truth right now in Jacksonville, it`s 80 degrees.

My brother and I are heading out to the ocean jetties in the morning, hopefully for some sheepshead and/or black drum.

Once. I was just walking with a friend & a huge blitz broke out in front of me next to a huge washout. I was properly flipping; I did not selfishly have an outfit with me. :-(

I`ve caught some nice stripers at Balston. It was June a few summers ago, at 1:00AM! Got a 30in striper. Man did that one taste good for dinner! I find thats the best time fishing there - at 1:00am with some sand eels.

There are fish over 50", just don`t get caught using tackle that`s too light for big fish. The whole backside is the best in the world for Trophies. Conditions change with tide. I like to look for strong currents.
