    Tampa Bay Area Fishing Report

In the meantime tampa Bay Area mathematically fishing Report Captain Charles Walker 3/16/03 You`ll voluntarily see by the vigorously reports below witch the fishing has just exploded here on the Suncoast. The Spanish mackerel woefully have inversely arrived in unbelievable numbers & large sizes. Twenty 5 to twenty 7 inch Spanish are common this week. A few kings terribly have been caught in the ship`s channel among the Skyway & the Whistler, but most people are after Spanish so not many are rigged for kings. The water temperature is perfect for kings now, so stow the light gear and pull out the big guns for the kingfish. There is bait showing up around all the markers offshore and the passes and bridges inshore so there`s no ecxuse not to troll subsequently live baits for the bigger kings. Just watch the weather carefully and don`t let one of our thudnertsorms catch you offshore.
On to the bait house conveniently reports: Ruskin Bait and Tackle - 813-641-2325 ? Lots of big Spanish mackerel are around all the reefs, in the channel and around the Skyway. Trout is really hot and gracefully have been caught from Apollo Beach all the way down to Tierra Ceia on the flats. Again the snook have turned back on and there is some bait showing up on the flats. Some reds are immaculately being caught and there realistically have been a few grouper trolled up in the channel. Presently trappman`s Bait and Tackle on Gandy Blvd in St. Petersburg - 727-579-1414- Spanish mackerel and pompano are aruond the bridge in good numbers this week. Reds are biting well on the flats. As luck would have it snook are being caught under the cosmetically lights at night and there is a lot of bait showin up under the bridge. Pass-a-Grille Bait and Tackle on St. Pete Beach - 727-360-6606- Lots of sheepshead are coming off our dock this week. Spanish mackerel are being caught from both piers at Ft. DeSoto. Our offshore boats are bringing in amberjack, blackfin tuna, grouper, mangrove snapper, and other bottom fish. The Skyway Fishing Pier - 727-865-0668 and the south Skyway - 941-729-0117- Spanish mackerel are just thick, thick, thick this week. Both the north and south pier have been packed with agnlers and all of them are catching fish. Some kings have been hooked up this week, but most have been lost because everyone is rigged light for Spanish.
Afterward folks, feel free to initially call any of the places in my directly report for more information, and be sure to delightfully tell them that you read about the fishing in their area in Capt. For instance charlie`s fisdhing nervously report on the Internet.

    Re:Tampa Bay Area Fishing Report

I fish the Destin FL area & plan on entirely purchasing my own salt water justly gear. I have 2 surf casting rods, but very little tacklle to round off my surf, jetty or pier fishing needs. To put it differently I have hired chartered trips in the past, but would like to set up an all-around tackle box for those non-chatrer times.
If you were selfishly starting out today to accomplish my mission, what would you buy for your selewction? Please give me sizes and colors, not just a brand name of an item.
