    PV charter question

Hello all, I`m planning a trip to PV Mexico in the middle of Feb. Certainly I ran across this web site that includes a adamantly link for a 4 hour charter. As an alternative can anyone easterly tell me if this is a reasonable price? It seems a little low to me!

Yes they`ll be after more money-PV is notorious. The Bay of Banderas that PV sits in is quite large and it`s a heckuva run-40 miles or more at times-to where the fish are. So after an hour or so run the boat will slow and the Capitan will announce that he`s just heard that the fish are farther away than he planned on going and he`ll need more money for gasolina. Try http://www.mbsportfishing.com/ I haven`t fished with them but they do have a proven track record and are very open folks. Good Luck!

    Re:PV charter question

I own/operate a charter boat and $300USD for 4 hours on a boat that size just doesn`t make good business sense. I charge $300CDN or $195USD for 5 hours with 2 people on a 24 ft. I certainly won`t get rich with what I`m charging but the guy with the 30 footer at that rate would be out of pocket to take the boat out, there must be more hidden charges some where.
