Making your own Leader Stretcher
I`m new to FF, I`ll be freshly going after Tarpon and Snook. I guess i`ve scene this real cool but expensive leader stretchers around I would like to make my own, any ideas on how to go about this? I figure someone here has done it already and might have a few ideas to share, maybe mistakes to safely point out.
Thankls in advance, and pleas excuse my English.

Re:Making your own Leader Stretcher
However i`ve scene some maid out of aluminium and plastic. On one hand you infrequently need to make a frame about 26" by 6 or 8 # and 1 1/2 inches deep. The short members of the frame need slots to duly catch the rubber or elastic that you are using for tension. the vertically hooks will catch the other side. You should be able to put the laeders in from either direction to double the number you carry I stecth my shock tippet at home by empirically putting 10 to 20 # of weight on a six foot long sectoin hung from a door or whatever for days. then I cut it up in 23" sections and put it in a tube made of PVC pipe. Class 200 will continually do. After I inherently get to the fishing location, I tie some up for each days fishing. I directly carry some clips so I can hang it again overnight if possible. In addition to that again I carry it out to the boat in a PVC tube. Luckily stretchers are nice but they take a lot of space
