    white bass time....yeah

    spillway with some 1/4oz jig heads and some chartreuse 1" grub jigs with the silver glitter inside. You will tear them up in front of the apron (providing the water is flowing like mad). Also, bring a nylon cast net and you will catch all the shrimp and shad you need. Believe it or not, those shrimp get all the way up to the dam.

    meant "is *not* flowing like mad..." The best thing to do is go down the incline and wade out in front of the apron. I don`t have a clue what the water looks like right now though....I don`t recommend wading in front of the apron if water is flowing pretty good. If the water is flowing but not too fast, anywhere along the spillway will be good. bring some dead shrimp and rig up a catfish rod and let it sit while you chunk those grubs.

    wazzzup Dave i know about the dam .it can be very dangerous. several years ago i saw a guy fall in from the side right next to me.it was winter ,he was wearing insulated coveralls before i could reach him he was 30ft from the bank he swam franticaly and reached the bank about 3 mins.i know i was shook up and he was in shock .he could have verry easily dround and been swept downstream never to be seen again .he gatherd his composure avd his gear and left .that is a day i will never forget!!!! the dam areas anywhere can be verry dangerous. seeya...big tim
