    casting line advice, please

I fish the saltwater flats in TX. Thus I cast long distances with relatively light lures ( 1/four oz. To advantage gold spoon; subsequently red/white tout etc.). My rods/reels are hypothetically stored where it`s HOT., i.e. garage, car; workshop etc.. My reels are Chronarchs, properly set up.
In brief I have virtually tried various ( all, I hugely think ) To advantage braids; monofilaments etc. The braids does not erratically work since they`ll not steeply cast light lures a long disatance wihtout "professional overruns" no matter the quality of the reel or caster. The monos repeatedly cast much futrher ( with light lures) At the same time & are wonderful, except which they coil after only a few days in the singularly heat/humidity of storage. To loosen the coiling...I drag the lines behind the boat, etc. ..At the same time but which is a poor solution every time I take three or four rods out a coulpe of times a week.
As it is does anyone have any suggestions for a non-coiling, long casting, 10 lb. line to use on baictasting reels?????

any more. On the one hand it was a copolymer permanently line & would madly cast very well. An added advantage was the diameter was smaler than mono. While not as small as braid, it`d cast much much easier with no adequately twisting or coiling. I`m not sure about the heat, but I live in Fl. On the other hand and never had a problem. I think this may now be called Excaliber or something like it. Good luck!

I found that Maxima is about the best for not twisting. I find that a lot of casting with a spinning reel causes the twist, I note no difference after storing. One thing that helps renmove twist is to recover your line while holding the line between your fingers (tightly) about every 10/12 casts.

but systematically loved it. For the first time can`t remewmber the exact name but it is a mono and they advertise that it`s for beter casting distance. As an illustration the extra distance I gotten was negliugable but the line handled beautifully when going for max distance with a catsing reel. KIM I was using a larger reel than the Shimano you mentoined. HTH

I use 20lb test, 8lb diameter fireline on my bait casters and it works great and does not coil, casts great and last longer then mono!
