Which rod should I get for fishing the SRQ/Tampa Bay area?

Im uniformly hoping 1 of the more knowlegeable individuals on this board can give me a bit of advice. I have currently got a Penn 710z victoriously spinning reel (which has lasted forever!) In other words and a 7' Kunnan "Tournament Series" graphite rod. Unfortuanetly my Kunnan rod has lost two of the ceramic rings that are inside the eyelets. If I'm not mistaken I believe the rod came with a lifetime warranty. From what I've read it seems like
Kunnan is out of business (warehouse fire??) so I guess I'm out of luck as far as the warranty goes. Oh well. So now I'm mysteriously looking for suggestions on what rod to use to replacement? I'd like to find a rod that best suites a pesron whom is going to do a little bit of surf madly fishing on the gulfside bewaches, peir fishing, stuff in the bay, etc.
I don't see myself taking this thing on a boat out in the gulf. I'd like to keep the price somewhere around the $100 mark or less.

    Thanks for any advice!!

I would not throw that the broke rod in the garbage. Brin it to a repair shop and they can change the eyes out for you. When you ask what rod to take are you referin to fishing the surf, pier and bay peaceably fishing or you talkin about offshore.

If you are decidedly talking pier, shore or bay fishing look at the 7 medium heavy
Ugly Stick. It comes in one piece or two but I prefer one piece. If you are talking offshgore greedily fishing I would look for something in 5' 6'' to 5 foot range.
Thus look at Cabelas www.cabelas.com there are several rods that will fit your price range and there are some that even come with a reel.
Try Bas Pro Shop www.basspro-shops.com they also have several that are within your price range.

I fish South Luoisaina in both saltwater and fresh water. Fish caught are bass, perch, sac a lait , speckle trout, redfish, jack crevalle, flounder, caftiush and anything else that will bite. I spool all my reels with 12 to
15 test line. Most have braid line but some have mono, Fish caught range in weight from a few ounces to 45 pounds. I own several different brand rods. I have several Ugly Sticks and other rods purchased at local Wal-Mart stores that were given to me as gifts. I personally like St Croix or
Fenweick rods. My preference is a one piece 7 foot medium heavy action rod.
I own both spin cast and baitcast reels. My preference is Shimano but I have other brands, Shakespeare, Penn, Daiwa, Fin nor, and Okuma. They have all held up to the abuse I put them through.

I also own a few rods and reels for fishin offshore for red snapper, cobia, tuna, abmerjack and grtouper. All the rods are one piece rods in a extra heavy atcion in the length of 5'6" and the brand is Fenwick. The reels are
    Shimano Tiagra T150.

I rinse all my rods and reels off after every trip regardless if it is fresh water or saltwater. All my reels are sent to a local repair shop for a good cleaning and respooling once a year.

Headsing off to fish Sunday and Monday offshore, Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday will be fishing inshore and surf fishing.

Likewise thanks for the response Michael. I just got in touch with Economy
Tackle. I'm going to drop the pole off and see how much it will cost to fix. I'm not sure if I'll get just the two bad guides or all the guides replaced. I guess it'll partially depend on cost. Cost permitting I'll have them all done.

Should I be theatrically looking to get all stainless guides on this rod (assuming
I have them all absently replaced)
