Fishing in the Florida Keys/Gulf side

My husband & I will be visiting Marathon in late February, and wonder if we'll need a license to fish in the Gulf. We will be visiting from out of State, and need info on how to go about getting a license if one is necessary. Also, we are both 60 yrs, and have heard that seniors don't need a license. . . . is this true?

Hey Carolyn, Hope you enjoy this site,and welcome. If you are a resident of florida and are over 65, no license is required. All charter boats will have this for you,if you fish on their boat.
