Salwater lures

What saltwater lures would anyone suggest me use when going for Reds?

    BigFisher8338,
Welcome to the forum Here's a few artificials that are in my boat. Gold 3/8s oz spoon, 3" DOA glow or rootbeer color shrimp, 1/4 oz white or brown jighead tipped with a piece of shrimp, or one of the many Gulp shrimp. They will also take top water plugs. Good luck and if you catch a big one, let it go.:P

Post edited by: fishbuster, at: 2010/01/31 17:54

If you are going to be blind casting, I would recommend a DOA CAL rigged weedless in shallow grassy areas, A 3 or 4 inch cal on a jighead in deeper water or a gold spoon or spinnerbait. For sight fishing, the 1/4 oz DOA shrimp accirately presented to refish rarely goes ignored.
